On May 11, the militants twice violated the ceasefire in the Donbas conflict zone. As a result of the fighting, one Ukrainian military was wounded, the press center of the JFO headquarters informed on Facebook.

It is reported that all the attacks occurred in the Donetsk sector. Here, the enemy fired at the positions of our fighters from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns — near the village of Pisky and from small arms — near Avdiivka.

“As a result of the attacks, one soldier of the Joint Forces was wounded. The enemy’s losses are being estimated,” the headquarters said.

As we reported, U.S Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker accused Russia in worsening of the situation in Donbas, as he posted on Twitter.

“For the last 5 years Russia’s fighters and proxies have made life worse for the people in Donbas including the Russian-speakers it claims to care about,” Volker posted.

He added that Russia should cease the hostilities, to implement the Minsk-banned weaponry, to reconstruct and reintegrate Donbas back to Ukraine.
