Militants violated the truce 7 times in Donbas conflict area on July 7. As a result of the shelling, one Ukrainian military man was injured, as the Defense Ministry’s speaker on Joint Forces Operation Dmytro Gutsulyak reported.
“At night, the occupants shelled Shyrokyne defenders three times from grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns from the occupied village of Sakhanka. The enemy also attacked Bohdanivka defenders from IFV weaponry. Militants fired 5 mines of 82 caliber on our positions in the Novoluhansk region at 04:00 a.m. From 05:17 a.m., the occupants shelled from (mortars) of 120 caliber near Popasna. The enemy also used 120 caliber against the defenders of Zolote-4,” the message says.
It is noted that as a result of enemy attacks from the beginning of the day, one Ukrainian soldier was injured. The defender was taken to a medical facility.
As it was reported earlier, on July 6, Russian occupants landed 26 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas.
Previously, the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that for a week, the sappers neutralized 208 explosive objects in Donbas conflict zone.
