One Ukrainian soldier injured in Donbas amid 22 attacks

The situation in the Donbas conflict zone today is characterized by an increase in the attacks on the Ukrainian soldiers, as the Ukrainian Army HQ reports.

Most attacks occurred in Donetsk sector, with 18 out of 22 reported assaults. The Russian-backed terrorists attacked the defenders of Avdiivka with grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms five times. The same arms were used near Butivka mine. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in the confrontation. Three attacks were reported near Pisky and two more – near Novogorodske.

In Mariupol sector, the militants fired four 82-mm mines near Hnutove. They also attacked the Ukrainian soldiers near Palopil and Shyrokyne.

As it was reported earlier, yesterday two fighters lost their lives in combat, while four more suffered injuries.
