The situation in Donbas got worse

One Ukrainian military officer was killed, another nine got wounded over the past day in Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone in Donbas. This was reported by Andriy Lysenko, the Speaker of Defence Ministry on ATO issues, during the briefing broadcast by 112 Ukraine TV channel.

According to the speaker, situation in Donbas has deteriorated.

Krymske was the main hot spot yesterday in Luhansk direction, where occupants launched 20 122 mm artillery shells. Enemy also attacked Ukrainian positions with IFV.

In Donetsk direction, militants attacked Avdiivka almost 24 hours straight. Occupants used mortars, cannons and tanks. The number of fired munitions is estimated in hundreds.

In Mariupol direction, enemy fired mortars at Krasnohorivka. They also used mortars, tanks and cannons in other areas. Armored vehicles attacked Marinka, entry-exit checkpoint there also got under fire.

As it was reported earlier, militants shelled Ukrainian Armed Forces positions 118 times during the past 24 hours.
