Since Tuesday morning, pro-Kremlin militants attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas 39 times; the government troops took casualties as one Ukrainian fighter deceased and two more sustained wounds in action. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported this on Facebook.
The enemy fired Minsk-banned weaponry 14 times. Attacks were reported in the areas of Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Zolote, Novozvanivka, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Travneve, Zalizne, and many other inhabited localities.
Russian occupant forces opened adjusted fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms. 152 mm artillery shells hit Novotoshkivske. The enemy used 122 mm cannons to shell Ukrainian emplacements near Vodyane. On several occasions, 82 mm mortars were used, too. In Zolote, militants fired anti-tank guided missiles.
Over the past 24 hours, three militants of illegal armed formations were eliminated, another five were wounded.
Since the early hours of Wednesday, the enemy attacked the Ukrainian positions near Hnutove and Shyrokyne. No use of heavy weaponry was observed.
