One Ukrainian military officer was killed, six soldiers and eight border guards got wounded in Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone in the last 24 hours. This was reported by Andriy Lysenko, Defense Ministry Speaker on ATO issues, during the briefing in Ukraine crisis media center.

He added that border guards were injured during enemy shelling on the building of State Border Guard Service near Sartana.

"One Ukrainian soldier was killed, 6 military officers and 8 border guards got injured and wounded over the past day. We convey our condolences to the families and friends of the deceased soldier," Lysenko said.

It is noteworthy that militants attacked Ukrainian forces 45 times during the day.
