One Ukrainian serviceman died as the anti-tank guided missile hit the body of the cargo vehicle in the south suburbs of Granitne, Donetsk region. Another serviceman is moderately wounded as HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reported on Facebook.
“Today, about 3 p.m. near the south suburbs of Granitne, the hostile anti-tank guided missile hit the body of the cargo vehicle of one of the detachments of the Joint Forces Operation,” the message said.
It is reported that the wounded soldier was provided with medical aid. The affected man was evacuated to one of the hospitals.
“The Command of the Joint Forces Operation expresses its condolences to relatives and family of the deceased fighter,” the HQ added.
According to The Newsroom Telegram-channel, the militants shelled the car of Chairman of Donetsk Civilian-Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko. Supposedly, the incident took place after Kyrychenko went to inspect the territory with two cars (one is his, one accompanied him) without agreement with the Command of the Joint Forces Operation. In the results of the shelling, one person from the car of accompaniment died and one wounded. All the people who were in the car of Kyrylenko are alive. He personally is alive but scared.
