One fighter killed, seven more injured over previous day in ATO zone, - Defense Ministry

For the past day, one fighter was killed in ATO zone, seven more were wounded. This was stated at a briefing, broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV channel, by the speaker of the Ministry of Defense on ATO issues Andriy Lysenko.

The heaviest losses Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered near Katerynivka, where as a result of enemy shelling a soldier was killed, two more were injured. Two fighters were blown up by an explosive device near Krymske, three were injured as a result of shelling Avdiivka, Marinka and Vodiane.

At the Mariupol direction, from the mortars of 120 mm and 82 mm caliber, grenade launchers and small arms, the enemy fired at positions near Vodiane. 120-mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms were used to attack our strongholds near Hnutove, and 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers - near Shirokine.

In Luhansk direction of the 120-mm mortar, the enemy was striking the strong points near Katerynivka. From the mortars of 120 mm caliber of and grenade launchers of various systems, the enemy fired at positions near Troitske, and from 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers and machine guns of large calibers - at strongholfs near Novozvanivka. The grenade launchers of various systems were used to attack the defenders of Krymske, Popasna, Valuisk and Stanytsia Luhanska. From small arms, the enemy fired at Lobachev settlement defenders.
