One civilian was killed in Donbas today due to shelling, which was carried out by militants, the headquarters of Joint Forces Operation reports.
Reportedly, at about 12:00 p.m., a civilian was injured due to the gunfire, which took place in Mariinka.
It is noted that the man died on the way to the hospital.
"This death of a civilian in Mariinka proves once again how unprincipled and immoral the actions of the Russian occupying troops against the civilian population of Donbas are," the HQ stated.
As we reported earlier, over the last 24 hours, illegal armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire seven times. The combat activity resulted in a casualty among Ukrainian servicemen; one fighter deceased.
The enemy attacked Ukrainian emplacements from grenade launchers of various systems, IFV armament, heavy machine guns and small arms. Enemy sniper activity was observed in Donetsk region.
In Luhansk region, the enemy conducted five attacks. Novoluhanske, Krymske and Travneve came under fire.
