A murder took place in Donetsk on early January 21. Deputy Commander of the "Special Forces of Interior Troops" of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) was shot dead, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

"Oleksiy Kryvulya, a.k.a callsign Green was killed with three shots to the back next to the elevator in his own house", reads the message.

Danylo Bezsonov, the Chief of the press office of the so-called "DNR Armed Forces" confirmed this on Twitter.

Previously, Russian mercenaries attacked the Ukrainian army's armored car in Shumy, Donetsk region. They used an anti-tank missile, which hit the van that carried food products and water for the military to their frontline positions. The Joint Operation Forces HQ reported that a military unit in Donetsk region claimed an attack on the van, which was damaged in the result. " (...) it turned out that the car was shot from an anti-tank missile complex (...) The said car was not even on the frontline at the time; it was in Shumy settlement", the HQ reported.
