Russian occupants shell village in Luhansk region, damage reported

The incident is classified as a terrorist act

The Russia-backed militants used an anti-tank grenade launcher to shell the private sector of Zolote-4 settlement in Luhansk region. No casualties among the local inhabitants have been spotted. The press service of the National Police of Ukraine reported this.

“On April 6, the enemy shelled the private sector of Zolote-4 settlement of Popasna district from the village of Zolote-5 (the temporarily occupied territory). As a result of a firing, the shell hit the house on Persha Vilna Street, it damaged the roof and a car parked nearby,” the report said.

The incident is added to the Unified Register of the Pre-Trial Investigation, under Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Terrorist act).

Earlier today, two Ukrainian servicemen died in the Donbas combat zone.

“As a result of the shelling, two servicemen of the Joint Forces operation passed away,” the report said.

According to the report, the pro-Kremlin militants violated the ceasefire regime 14 times.
