June 8, the occupants frustrated the agreements on the separation of forces and means near Stanytsia Luhasnka, which was planned on June 16. The press service of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ reports this on Facebook.

Thus, the Russia-backed militants were firing with the small arms at Stanytsia Luhanska settlement from 8:55 p.m. till 9:35 p.m. on Saturday. They fired from the occupied Mykolaivla settlement direction.

“The abovementioned facts demonstrate once again the unwillingness of the Russia-backed militants and the occupational administration to abide by the Minsk agreements on the separation of forces and means at the area, which was planned on 16 June,” the report said.

According to the agreements, the separation of forces and means can be implemented only after abiding by the ceasefire regime and its fixation by the OSCE SMM for a week.

“Taking into account the abovementioned facts, the next possible date of the separation of forces and means at the area number 1 Stanytsia Luhanska can become June 17, if only they abide by the ceasefire regime until the appointed term,” the report added.
