Separatists demand to release more than 600 people

The number of hostages detained by militants in Donbas increased to 126 people because of civilians. This was reported on Facebook by Iryna Gerashchenko, the vice-speaker of Verkhovna Rada, Ukrainian representative in humanitarian subgroup of Trilateral Contact Group.

"Unfortunately, the list of hostages provided by Security Service includes 126 people already, the number of illegally held has increased due to civilians. Separatists in Donbas demand to return more than 600 people," Gerashchenko noted.

Earlier it was reported about 121 listed prisoners remaining in occupied territories of Donbas.

Minsk group has discussed the search of missing people in Donbas with the ICRC involvement. The next meeting of Trilateral Contact Group is scheduled for April 26.
