The number of people suffered from the poisoning in occupied Makiivka increased up to 43. Pavlo Lysyansky, the representative of Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Luhansk and Donetsk regions claimed this as 112 Ukraine reported.
"In the morning, I was reported about another four cases of the hospitalization of the adults (beside 39 people earlier reported). The information is blocked again, they do not allow getting to know something, they hide the scale of the tragedy, I think there are much more victims. The doctors of occupied Makiivka are in a very difficult situation. They do not have enough medicines," he said.
Lysyansky noted that according to the doctors, the poisoning by water is the most difficult one. According to him, the militants of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" do not control the situation.
"People collect water from the wells or buy at stores. The situation is intense. I think the quick response is needed, to bring water, to help the locals. But the occupants retreat from the situation now," he added.
As we reported in occupied Makiivka, Donetsk region, the mass poisoning of the civilians by the drinking water took place on September 25.
Earlier a mass poisoning was observed in the village of Ivane-Puste in Ternopil region, western Ukraine. 250 people turned for medical assistance after a plane irrigated the local greenery.
Also, the number of children poisoned at school #62 in Dnipro that was earlier closed into quarantine has reached 38.
