Death toll from explosions at Balakliya ammo depot increased to three, - General Staff

One injured soldier died in hospital

November 17, a soldier, wounded during an explosion at the Central Artillery Base in Balakliya, Kharkiv region, died in the Kharkiv city clinical hospital. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported it.

“The remaining servicemen, who also suffered as a result of the incident, are undergoing treatment, and there is no threat to their life,” as said in the statement.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expresses sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased soldier.

As we reported, the explosions took place near the Balakliya ammunition depot, Kharkiv region. Two military sappers sustained fatal injuries as a result of explosions of shells.
