OSCE special monitoring mission continues to report numerous ceasefire violations in Donbas; over August, the number of attacks on Ukrainian positions and living quarters has grown by 30 percent compared to that of July’s.

’We reported 62 cases of hindering activity of OSCE SMM in August – not to mention those connected with mine hazards. There were 43 times when the mission’s patrols had no access to infrastructure objects; 13 times they got the access partially restricted, and six times more, they were forbidden to use drones over the area of Donetsk filtration plant,’ the report said as quoted by the HQ of the Ukrainian military.

In August, OSCE SMM also reported presence of 520 armored vehicles on the militant-held territories - close to the division line, which is a breach of Minsk agreements.
