The Luhansk Military Civil Administration confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine took control of the village of Novooleksandrivka located in the "gray zone" of the Donbas conflict area. This information was published by the chairman of the Luhansk administration Yuriy Harbuz in Facebook.
"I instructed to prepare documents on the exclusion of Novooleksandrivka village from the list of settlements on the territory of which Ukrainian authorities temporarily do not exercise their powers, so that residents of Novooleksandrivka could receive social payments in full," Harbuz wrote.
He added that about 90% of houses were destroyed in the village. It is noted that at the moment there are 17 residents living in Novooleksandrivka, mostly they are elderly people.
"First of all, we must provide energy and medical services to residents. I personally control the restoration of the main communications and the work of a paramedic-midwife point. Those who need emergency medical care can turn to the specialists of Popasna district hospital, "Harbuz added.
As it was reported earlier fighters of the Ukrainian army entered the village of Novooleksandrivka, Luhansk region, which lies in the so-called gray zone of the combat zone in Donbas since 2015. According to the Ukrainian military, this act does not contradict the spirit of Minsk agreement.
Currently, there are some twenty people residing in the village, and they have no access to gas or electricity.
It was also reported Aleksandr Zalichev, Russia's two-time champion in duel rifle shooting is involved in terrorist activity in eastern Ukraine, as he served along with pro-Kremlin militants - specifically, the Wagner PMC - in Donbas in 2014.
Zalichev sided with the Wagner Group mercenaries, serving as a sniper. 'Based on the open-source data, we found out that he is Russia's two-time champion in duel rifle shooting, and the acting member of Russia's national team in tactical shooting - at least he was in 2014-2016,' he said.
