No fighting took place in the combat zone in Donbas since the beginning of the day. Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported that on Friday.
"Since the beginning of the day and until noon, no facts of ceasefire violation by Russian occupant forces were observed; no casualties registered among the ranks of the Joint Forces", said the message.
On October 8, pro-Kremlin militants opened fire in Donbas three times; none of Ukrainian servicemen were killed or wounded in action, Joint Forces Operation HQ reports.
"The enemy landed three unadjusted attacks from small arms near Pisky settlement, and near Opytne, he planted mines from afar, using an anti-tank grenade launcher, modified to fire POM-2 mines; they also used the same weapon using conventional ammunition", reads the message.
Enemy provocations did not pose any threat to lives and health of the Ukrainian military; the fighters did not return fire.
