There will be no disengagement of troops in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska, Luhansk region. Yuriy Klymenko, the deputy head of Luhansk civil and military regional administration, said this in an interview with 112 Ukraine TV channel.

According to him, the disengagement failed due to the attacks by Russia-backed militants.

Previously, parties to Minsk negotiation group agreed that the disengagement would take place in this area. However, this is only possible if the full and bilateral ceasefire lasts for at least seven days. Near Petrivske (Donetsk region) and Zolote (Luhansk region), the disengagemen was successful, but near Stanytsia Luhanska, it has been breached several times now.
