On September 29, Russian mercenaries did not breach the ceasefire in the Donbas combat area. No attacks took place over the day, HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reports.
Ukrainian combat engineers cleared more than 11 hectares of territory from mines and destroyed 48 explosive items.
Joint Forces continue to serve in the combat area, ready to repel any sort of hostile activity.
Earlier, Vitold Fokin, the member of Ukraine's delegation in the Minsk talks group said he did not see any sings of Ukraine-Russia war taking place in Donbas.
Prior to that, Fokin also claimed he was insecure when publicly calling Donbas militants 'rebels'. The first Prime Minister of Ukraine also added he was very sorry that his statement caused a huge outrage in the society.
Ex-PM of Ukraine Vitold Fokin was included in the Minsk Talks group in August 2020. He made a number of controversial statements on Donbas; however, they do not reflect the official position of Ukraine as the President’s Office underlined.
