There have been no fights in Donbas combat area since the morning of April 3, the Defense Ministry of Ukraine reports.
The authority confirmed that on April 2, the Russian occupant forces opened fire 15 times.
In Luhansk region, they attacked the outposts in Novozvanivka, Kalynove, Popasna and Katerynivka. Seven violations of the ceasefire were reported in this region.
In Donetsk region, the pro-Kremlin mercenaries landed eight attacks, specifically in Verkhnyotoretske, Shyrokyne, Avdiivka, Vodyane and Hnutove.
Two Ukrainian fighters lost their lives in combat on April 2. Volunteer Yana Chervona and military serviceman Oleksandr Melyutin were killed by the same 120 mm mine. Yana Chervona served with the 54th Brigade since 2016. In 2013-2014, she supported the Euromaidan movement in Kharkiv. When the military conflict in Donbas began, she joined the volunteer movement and helped the army. Chervona is survived by her husband and two children, a son and a daughter.
