People's Council of the self-proclaimed LPR unanimously supported the resignation of Ihor Plotnitsky from the post of "head of the Republic." Instead, Leonid Pasechnyk was "appointed" the leader of Luhansk Republic, according to the website of the so-called "council".
This "resolution" comes into force from the date of its adoption. As the RIA Novosti reports, in favor of the resignation of Plotnitsky voted all 38 "parliamentarians."
As previously reported by Russian media, Plotnitsky will return to ORLO to work over the Minsk agreements.
We recall that on November 23, Plotnitsky was seen in one of the airports in Moscow. The media reported earlier on his escape from Luhansk.
On November 22, a video appeared featuring the leader of the militants, when he holds "working meetings" and communicates with journalists. He stated that he did not leave the territory of the ORLO, and the events taking place in the occupied Luhansk he called "an attempt of coup d'état".
