New areas for the disengagement of forces in Donbas have not yet been approved. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov, 112 Ukraine TV channel reports.
"They (areas for the disengagement – 112 International.), unfortunately, have not yet been approved, so it makes no sense to discuss them publicly at this moment as they are being discussed by the security group. Nevertheless, unfortunately, the final consolidation of those areas' coordinates has not been completed that is why I will not announce them," Reznikov said.
As we reported earlier, the above-mentioned areas for the disengagement of forces and equipment in Donbas were agreed on September 2, at the regular meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group.
"The task was set for the security group to develop a detailed plan and finalize the draft addendum to the Framework Decision of the Trilateral Contact Group on the disengagement of forces and equipment of September 21, 2016," the statement said.
