The NATO will keep supporting Ukraine in its struggle against the Russian aggression, and it will contribute to the country's defense capability. Mircea Geoană, the Deputy Secretary General of the Alliance said so as cited by Suspilne.
"Military actions in Ukraine and around it cause quite serious concern", the official said.
The bloc's member countries do not endorse the occupation of Ukrainian territories by Russia, Geoană said.
According to the Deputy Secretary, Defense Ministers of NATO member countries recently discussed Russia's actions and plan to return to discussion of this issue during the summit on June 14.
"NATO will keep on providing considerable support for Ukraine, so that it can provide its own security. We can talk about strengthening the potential, military dtraining and various drills in Transnistria", Geoană said.
