The soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine have downed the Russian drone of Eleron type at Svitlodarsk direction in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation as the Headquarters of the operation reported on Facebook.

“Today, on March 1, the military men of the battalion task force of the Special Operations Regiment “Azov” of the National Guard of Ukraine noted the drone over the position at one of the team sites of the detached mechanized brigade, which defends at Svitlodarsk direction. The National Guards allowed it to pass the first position and opened the covering fire at the drone from the regular small arms,” the message said.

The drone was downed at a height of 150 meters.

“The military men found the downed drone and passed it to the specialists. It turned out that the drone is the Russian unmanned aerial vehicle of Eleron type,” the message stated.

Now the specialists study the downed hostile drone and information carriers.
