The officer of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel Oleksandr Boyko went missing in the ATO zone. According to the unconfirmed information, he is detained by one of the terrorist organization of occupied Donbas. This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine with the reference to the press service of the National Guard of Ukraine.

"Military officer of the National Guard, Colonel Oleksandr Boyko disappeared after the armed clash while performing the combat mission in the ATO zone (Luhansk region). According to unconfirmed reports, the officer is being held by one of the terrorist divisions of the occupied Donbas region," the message said.

Attempts to exchange and return Colonel Boyko have not yielded positive results. National Guard continues its work on the matter. Representatives of public organizations were involved in the search.

Earlier it was reported that thousands of people in Donbas listed missing, according to the International Red Cross. It is also reported that more than 600 missing cases, registered by the IRC, are not yet unsolved.
