In 2019 (compared to 2018), mortality at entry-exit checkpoints in Donbas increased by 40%. This is stated in the message of the Eastern Human Rights Group on Facebook.

According to the information that was provided in the message, 15 people died at entry-exit checkpoints in Donetsk region, 12 - in Luhansk region, which is 8 people more than in 2018. 

In total, in 2019, doctors assisted 301 people while crossing the demarcation line.

It is also worth noting that, according to the Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation, in 2019, 196,000 citizens of temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions received Russian citizenship on the simplified procedure.

As we reported earlier, the casualty rate of Donbas occupants exceeded 1,5 thousand people in 2019, the headquarters of Joint Forces Operation informed.

Their irreversible losses reached 619 people, another 939 fighters were wounded and injured.

In addition, Ukrainian troops destroyed 110 units of enemy weaponry and military equipment.
