More than 313 000 attacks were spotted in the zone of the armed Donbas Conflict since the beginning of 2017. Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug claimed this at the briefing at the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center.
‘I have an impression that there are two parts on Donbas. The ceasefire regime is observed and the sides agreed to demine the territory or to sign the mines at the one part and there is free access to all territories for the observers and it is safe. But 313 322 violations of the ceasefire regimes was spotted at the second part. 26 000 of them were made from the heavy weaponry placed with the violations’, Hug claimed.
He noted that 398 civilians became the victims of the military actions and 327 of them were wounded.
Earlier it was reported that the OSCE SMM observers spotted more cases of the truce violation in Luhansk region in comparison with the previous period of time. Also, Hug reported that both sided of the Donbas Conflict violate the Minsk Agreements.
