Over 300 people were denied crossing demarcation line in Donbas over the week

Border guards revealed 27 passports of Ukraine with signs of partial falsification

Last week, 319 people were refused to cross the demarcation line in Donbas due to the lack of documents. This was reported by the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ press center.

"295,700 citizens and 35,500 vehicles were registered at the demarcation line checkpoints. 319 people were not let to cross it due to the lack of necessary documents," the statement said.

It is noted that border guards revealed 27 passports of Ukraine with signs of partial falsification.

“57 internally displaced persons, who left their homes in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine due to the difficult socio-economic situation, were moving to the controlled territory,” JFO HQ added.
 
 
Over the previous week, 282 people were refused to get through the contact line due to the absence of documents.

"309,500 citizens and 36,200 vehicles were issued through the contact line by the established procedure on the previous week. 282 people were refused to get through the line due to the lack of the documents and absence of the necessary number of them," the post reads. 

It is noted that the border police has detected 31 Ukrainian passports with the elements of partial counterfeit. 

Besides, 18 citizens were held liable for the crossing of the state border between Ukraine and Russia through inactive crossing points on the temporarily uncontrolled territory of the Ukrainian-Russian border.
