Three Ukrainian soldiers got injured as a result of a Molot mortar explosion in a military unit in Donbas conflict zone, as Olexiy Tryhub, the representative of the Joint Forces Operation HQ, said, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“The incident occurred in one of the military units in Joint Forces Operation zone. The investigation commission is determining the reasons and the circumstances,” the representatives of the HQ informed.
Moreover, Tryhub said that the wounded soldiers are hospitalized, their condition is satisfactory.
Earlier, a mortar exploded during military drills in Rivne region on July 6, at around 6 am. Three Ukrainian soldiers died as a result, nine more were injured.
Later, the President Petro Poroshenko banned using Molot mortars until the investigation is over.
