The Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas will discuss the release of the hostages on April 4. Iryna Gerashchenko, the First Deputy Speaker of the Ukrainian parliament and representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup reported this on Facebook.

‘We will meet to discuss the release as soon as possible and will talk about this at the meeting of the humanitarian subgroup in Minsk on April 4’, she reported.

Gerashchenko also claimed that she met Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine for the discussion of the hostages and political prisoners issue, absence of the access of the doctors, representatives of the International Red Cross Committee to the detained, violation of the rights of the detained for the meeting with the consuls.

Previously, The Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on settlement of the situation in Donbas has agreed on a complete ceasefire on the line of demarcation in the conflict zone for the time of Easter holidays starting on March 30. This was stated by the TCG on the OSCE website.
