During the talks of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, the Ukrainian side once again raised the issue of the "nationalized" enterprises. Darka Olifer, the press secretary of the head of the Ukrainian delegation of Leonid Kuchma, reported that on her Facebook page.

"The Ukrainian side pursues raising the problem of returning state and private property in the territory of the isolated districts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. A list of enterprises whose owners have applied to the law enforcement bodies of Ukraine regarding the loss of their property has been transferred," reads the message.

It is also reported that the subgroup on socio-economic issues discussed the issues of water supply in the occupied Donbas involving the Red Cross.

As it was reported earlier, as Minsk hosted another session of the Trilateral Contact Group, Ukraine and Russia discussed possible areas for further disengagement of troops and vehicles in Donbas. Ukraine insisted on four sections, while the Russian side offered six.

On January 16, Ukraine's delegation chose the following areas: the railroad bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska, near Avdiivka, Nooselivka-II and near Hnutove checkpoint. Russia insists on Schastya, Veseohorivka, Pozsadky, Hnutove, Shyrokyne and near Avdiivka.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held the phone talk with German’s Chancellor Angela Merkel. They discussed the issue of three extra areas for disengagement of forces in Donbas. The sides expect that the progress in this issue will be reached during the next Minsk Talks on February 12.
