Minsk group discussed search for persons missing in Donbas with involvement of ICRC

Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk discussed the prospects of search for missing persons in Donbas with the involvement of the International Committee of the Red Cross. This was reported during the briefing broadcast by 112 Ukraine TV channel by Martin Sajdik, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group.

"The letters of people detained in Donbas were given to Ukrainian side during today’s meeting. This was made due to the upcoming Easter holidays. In addition, we also discussed the issues regarding searches for missing people with the involvement of International Committee of the Red Cross. Working group has also discussed current situation, which formed after the introduction of the so-called "external management" on Ukrainian enterprises working in separate areas of Donbas, and its consequences," he noted.

Ukrainian side in Trilateral Contact Group also expresssed its concern over constant threats and aggression towards OSCE SMM representatives in Donbas.

As it was reported earlier, Minsk group discussed the search for missing people in Donbas with the ICRC involvement. The next meeting of Trilateral Contact Group is scheduled for April 26.
