The urgent session of the Minsk talks group is over. The press office of the Ukrainian delegation, which initiated the meeting reported that on November 19.
"Thanks to the firm stance of Halyna Treyakova, the MP and leader of humanitarian subgroup and assistance from Tony Frisch, the coordinator of the subgroup in the talks, the sides managed to agree on new technical details of the unblocking of checkpoints in Zolote and Schastya - by the Russian side", reads the message.
The Russian delegation, however, refused to hold the sessions of political and security subgroups.
The next session is slated for November 24-25.
Earlier, the Ukrainian delegation in the Trilateral Contact Group announced five major points of its "action plan in Donbas." That, in particular, includes the withdrawal of foreign troops, illegal armed units, and mercenary gangs from the territory of Ukraine in early 2021; it also urges the Russian government to cancel the decisions that interfere in the everyday life in the occupied Donbas - like the one about the provision of Russian citizenship to residents of these territories.
