Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, MP ("People’s Front"), Anton Gerashchenko said that "the Minsk agreement" on resolving the situation in Donbas is simply "a piece of paper that has no legal force." He said this in the "Evening prime" on "112 Ukraine" TV Channel broadcast.
He calls the document a "conceptual agreement."
"It's just a piece of paper, it has no legal force. I would say that this is a conceptual agreement, reached under the pressure from our Western partners, who tried to help to stop the active phase of the Russian Federation attack on the Donbas territory," – Gerashchenko said.
He also noted that there is no signature of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in the agreement, obviously implicating he is not responsible for their execution of the document.
Gerashchenko also said that "in fact, Poroshenko does not want to hold elections in Donbas, he does not want to be led by Putin."
