The demining process began at the site of the disengagement of forces in the area of ​​Zolote-4 in the Luhansk region. This was stated by the head of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) press center Andriy Ageyev, reports UNN.

"According to the official report of the OSCE, mine-clearing has begun from today according to our obligations under the disengagement plan. At present, there are 5 sapper groups from the State Emergencies Ministry at the site," he said.

 
Finland has confirmed the financial aid to Ukraine in the amount of 600,000 euros for humanitarian mine clearance in Stanytsia Luhanska. This became known during the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland Pekka Haavisto to Donbas, the press center of Finland's MFA reports.

In addition, the Scandinavian country expressed strong support for Ukraine in finding a solution to the military conflict through the Minsk agreements.

"Finland is largely involved in the development of Ukraine, supports energy efficiency and school reform," the report said.
