Militants violated ceasefire 29 times in ATO zone

The situation in Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone remains unquiet, but controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Russia-backed occupation forces attacked Ukrainian positions 29 times over past day. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.

In Mariupol direction, 120 and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types and heavy machine guns were used by enemy to attack Marinka. Apart from that, enemy snipers were active in this area. Enemy fired anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns at Vodiane. IFVs and small arms were fired at Shyrokyne. Enemy fired grenade launchers at Pavlopil, while Hnutove and Chermalyk were attacked from heavy machine guns.

In Donetsk direction, militants fired grenade launchers of various types and heavy machine guns at positions near Avdiivka and Pisky. Strongholds near Luhanske were attacked from grenade launchers. Opytne was attacked from machine guns, Kamianka suffered small arms fire. Enemy snipers were active near Troitske.

In Luhansk direction, enemy opened fire from automatic grenade launchers at Lobacheve, while Novooleksandrivka was attacked from small arms.

Despite the armed provocations by the enemy, Ukrainian military officers were strictly adhering to ceasefire regime and did not return fire.
