The militants repeatedly violated the full and comprehensive ceasefire in Donbas, which began at midnight on July 27. This was announced by commander of the Joint Forces Operation Volodymyr Kravchenko, Novosti.dn reports.
"Unfortunately, at 0:20-0:45 the enemy attacked a unit of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade with small arms, anti-tank grenade launchers, and large-caliber machine guns," Kravchenko said during a briefing.
According to him, there are no losses on the Ukrainian side.
As we reported earlier, a session of Minsk trilateral contact group took place on July 22. The sides agreed on a full ceasefire in Donbas since 00.01 a.m. July 27.
Nevertheless, on July 26, pro-Kremlin armed gangs shelled living houses in Avdiivka, Donetsk region. They fired 82 mm mortars. One of the mines hit the roof of a summerhouse, which led to a fire. Two holes from 82 mm mines were detected in the local yard. The attack did not claim any lives, and no one was wounded.
In general, on July 26, Russian militants fired on Ukrainian positions 13 times. The enemy used firearms banned by Minsk agreements.
