The enemy keeps using weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements

On Monday, December 10, Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire regime in the Joint Forces Operation zone seven times. The press office of the Joint Forces Operation reported this on Facebook. 

It is noted that the militants continue using weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements. In particular, the enemy opened fire from 120mm mortars at the positions of the Joint Forces near Novooleksandrivka in the direction of Popasna District.

The enemy performed an attack from 82mm mortars at the positions of our military in the area of Vilne farmstead, Zaitseve and Butivka mine. 

The Russian occupants also conducted fire from grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms at the settlements of Novozvanivka, Berezove and Chermalyk.

‘No casualties among the personnel of the Joint Forces were observed over the day. The situation in the Joint Forces Operation zone remains controlled by the Ukrainian military,’ the headquarters reported. 

Over the previous day, December 9, the militants performed 14 shellings of the Ukrainian forces in the JFO zone. As a result of the attacks, one Ukrainian serviceman sustained injuries.
