Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in Anti-Terrorist Operation zone in Donbas. Militants continued to violate ceasefire regime using forbidden weaponry. This was reported by the ATO headquarters press center in Facebook.

“The situation in ATO area remains tense. Russian illegal forces continue to violate ceasefire agreement along the whole delimitation line. The situation is most tense in Donetsk area, in particular in the southern and north- eastern suburbs of Avdiivka. In total, militants shelled Ukrainian positions 13 times. The enemy repeatedly used weapons forbidden by Minsk agreement,” the headquarters report.

In Prymorske area militants shelled ATO forces 4 times. Before dawn, they used grenade launchers and small arms of various calibers to shell Ukrainian positions in Hnutove, Shyrokyne and Lebedynske. In the evening, illegal armed forces shelled Krasnohorivka positions from the territory of temporary occupied Staromykhaylivka from antitank grenade launcher.

The militants were most active in the area of Donetsk. Hostilities continue near Avdiivka and Kamianka.

“Starting from midnight time occupants shelled from infantry weapons. Later, militants shelled our positions also from 82 mm mortars, anti-tank missile systems and tank weaponry. Most actively militants shelled in Kamianka. At the same time, the enemy shelled Verkhnyotoretske positions from grenade launchers and heavy machine guns,” the message says.

In Luhansk area it was relatively calm. Although, the enemy sniper was shooting in Novooleksandrivka in the morning.

As it was reported earlier one Ukrainian soldier died in Donbas, and six soldiers got wounded over 24 hours. 22 attacks on positions of government troops were reported.
