Recall that German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier declared the ceasefire from the night of September 15 that will last a week. He said that if the truce will last until next Tuesday, September 20, the parties to the conflict will begin to discuss the withdrawal of troops and weapons.

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin's administration said they did not promise Germany to adhere to the ceasefire in the Donbas region as they are "not a party to the conflict", and Ukraine fights with the so called "armed forces of Donbas" in the Eastern part.
