As the agency informed, the militants were violating the schedule and thus put lives and health of the civilians under threat.
“Yesterday, the militants performed such provocative actions on all the checkpoints, when at 5 p.m., a large number of the civilians and cars appeared from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. 246 citizens arrived at Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint, 64 cars to Novotroitske checkpoint, 25 cars to Hnutove one, 25 to Mayorske, and another 28 to Marinka checkpoint. While talking to the citizens, the border guards found out that the occupant troops intentionally kept people at their checkpoints and blocked the crossing operations for some time. Considering the darkness and potential threat, under the decision of the Joint Forces Commander, the operation of the mentioned checkpoints was prolonged. The border guards from the Joint Forces staff organized events on additional processing of 835 citizens in the defined order of crossing the demarcation line,” the representatives of the Border Guard Service said.
“Despite the provocation at the humanitarian road corridors, the enemy’s forces will not reach their goal as the Joint Forces units defend human rights, freedoms and legal interests of the Ukrainians,” the Border Guards noted.
