70 attacks took place over the last 24 hours, ATO Press Centre reported. In particular, Russian proxies used mortars and self-propelled artillery to attack Ukrainian positions near Pavlopol and Novotroitske, both in Donetsk region. Among other inhabited areas in Donetsk region that went under fire were Avdiivka, Luhanske, Pisky, Opytne, Nevelske and several others. In Luhansk region, enemy opened fire at emplacements of Ukrainian troops near Tryokhizbenka and Stanytsia Luhanska.
Militants continue to use 120 and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. Over the period, Ukrainian troops returned fire 19 times, using solely small caliber guns, which is in line with Minsk agreements.
