Russian-backed militants shell Maiorske, local resident injured

A local resident of Maiorske received gutter wound during the shelling of militants in Donbas on September 28. The victim is in a hospital. The Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of ceasefire claimed this, the press office of the Joint Forces reported this on Facebook. 

‘On September 28, 2018, at 6:15 p.m., the militants of the Russian armed formations performed shelling of Maiorske using small arms. As a result of the shelling, the local resident received a gutter wound to the head at the place of his permanent residence on 10B Kiltseva street. The victim is in Bakhmut Central District Hospital,’ reads the message.

In addition, the illegal armed formations opened fire at Novoluhanske from 122mm artillery and 120mm mortars. The Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination recorded the facts of ammunition hits into technical installations. As a result of the shelling, the roof of one of the animal houses damaged. Unexploded 122mm shell was found at the site of shelling, as well as the fragments of 120mm mines. 

Moreover, on September 24, border officers stated on the shelling of Hruntove settlement. Nine impact craters resulting from 122mm shells were recorded at the scene, as well as damage from shells explosions in the air.
