A recently liberated by the Ukrainian army Zolote-4 village was among the towns and villages attacked by the enemy.
Over Monday, one Ukrainian soldier was injured in the conflict area. His condition at the moment is of medium gravity.
As for Tuesday, the militants shelled positions of the Joint Forces operation three times. The Ukrainian side did not shell in response. There are no casualties in Ukraine’s forces.
As it was reported earlier, Zolote village in Luhansk region was taken under control of Armed Forces of Ukraine. Volunteer Roman Donyk wrote on Facebook that it happened on October 30, three weeks after the active phase of the operation. Earlier, Zolote was situated in the grey zone, as well as Katerynivka village.
‘About 300 locals, 40 of whom are school-aged children have been suffering from the absence of social, medical support and authorities, from everyday searches, inspection at the checkpoints and absolute absence of confidence in the future. The village was situated directly at the line of contact. The 'Self-Defense' consisting of the reserve of Joint Forces operation's Commander remained in the village and strengthened the position. The village is taken under full control,’ the volunteer said.
It should be noted that Pervomaisk (Luhansk region) occupied by the LNR (Luhansk People’s Republic) militants is located near Zolote. Besides, there is a same-name checkpoint in Zolote, which operation is being blocked by the illegal armed formations.
