“Militants did not use 152 and 122 mm artillery systems during the past 24 hours. But they repeatedly used mortars,” Chepurny said.
The occupants shelled Pavlopil, Hnutove and Shyrokyne from mortars, according to the press officer of “Mariupol” tactical group Serhiy Zhmurko.
“The shelling continues from midnight. As of 8 a.m. militants shelled 7 times, they used 82 mm mortars, from which Russian occupation forces shelled defenders od Parvlopil. They shelled from automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. Positions in Vodyane were shelled from SPG-9 and heavy machine guns and in Hnutove – from small arms and Shyrokyne from IFV weaponry,” the press officer commented.
Earlier 61 shelling was reported over the past 24 hours in ATO area. The situation remains tense near Avdiivka. Three military men were wounded.
