February 6, militants in Donbas violated the ceasefire twice as for 12 a.m. The press service of the Ministry of Defense reported this.

 “In the morning at 6:15 a.m., the enemy fired 15 mines of 120 mm caliber at the positions of our defenders in the area of Orikhove. The shelling lasted for 20 minutes. Later, from 11:35 a.m. to 12:05 a.m., the occupant troops again started firing at the Joint Forces near Orikhove using prohibited 120 mm mortars. This time it lasted 10 minutes,” the message says.

According to the Ministry of Defense, there were no casualties on the part of Ukrainian forces.

The Security Service reported that a commission of the Southern Military District of Russian Armed Forces is on the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The commission includes officers of the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy (St. Petersburg).

Since the beginning of February 5, seven violations of the ceasefire regime from the side of the Russian occupation troops were spotted in Joint Forces Operation area. The occupants shelled the positions of the Ukrainian military from different automatic grenade launchers and machine guns near Novotroitske (twice), Shyrokine (one time), Mariinka (one time).
