Militants of illegal armed groups in Donbas on Monday, October 16, fired Zalizne settlement (7 km from Toretsk, - Ed.). As a result, a 48-year-old woman was injured. This was stated on Facebook, by the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky.
According to Zhebrivsky, 15 living quarters fell under artillery fire. The shelling continued for 40 minutes.
"As Yaroslav Rudenko, the chairman of the military and civilian administration of Toretsk, reported to me, the shelling began at about 2 p.m. The pro-Russian terrorists fired from the occupied territory - from the Gagarin mine, the bombardment lasted about 40 minutes," wrote Zhebrivsky.
He noted that the woman was hospitalized with injuries to her neck and torso. Her condition is assessed as stable.
"A woman born in 1969 was injured: she was injured in the neck and trunk area and she was already operated in the city hospital. At present doctors estimate her condition as stable," the head of the Donetsk Regional Administration said.
