Over the past day, March 11, militants violated the ceasefire regime in Donbas twice and fired at Ukrainian positions from grenade launchers of various systems, large machine guns and small arms. press service of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense reported this.
All the attacks were spotted in Donetsk region, namely:
- near the village of Pisky – from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, large machine guns, and small arms;
- near Hnutove village - from automatic grenade launchers and large machine guns.
One serviceman of the Joint Forces was injured as a result of hostile shelling of our positions.
Since the beginning of March 12, the enemy troops did not show any fire activity, there are no casualties among our servicemen.
Earlier it was reported that OSCE would create an advisory council for solving the situation in Donbas. According to OSCE Special Representative Heidi Grau, the council's tasks will be developing policy recommendations within its competence.
OSCE noted a significant increase in the number of Donbas conflict victims in the past two weeks.
