Militants shell 34 times, one soldier killed, two injured in ATO area

Russian terrorist forces continue to shell ATO positions. The enemy shelled Ukraine’s Armed Forces positions 34 times. One Ukrainian soldier was killed and two were injured in the area.

This was reported by the press center of the ATO headquarters in Facebook.

In Donetsk direction militants shelled positions in Troitske from 120 and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems and heavy machine guns. The enemy fired on Avdiivka from 120 mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. Pisky, Luhanske and Novoselivka-2 were hit from 82 mm grenade launchers. Butivka mine area and Nevelske were shelled from grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. In Zaitseve the enemy used small arms. In Luhanske they used IFV weaponry. Snipers were shooting in Avdiivka area.

In Prymorske direction, militants shelled Taramchuk and Mariinka positions from 82 mm mortars and anti-tank grenade launchers. In Hnutove, the enemy used APC, automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. Militants shelled Shyrokyne from small arms. Enemy snipers were shooting  shelled in Vodyane and Pavlopil.

In Luhansk direction, Russian occupation forces used 82 mm grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to shell Novozvanivka. Positions near Stanytsia Luhanska were shelled from IFV weaponry and grenade launchers. APC and automatic grenade launchers were used in Novooloksandrivka area. Valuyske positions were shelled from grenade launchers and small arms.

Earlier it was reported that 18 shellings were reported in ATO area over the day. One Ukrainian soldier killed during the day, two wounded, according to the ATO headquarters.
